One of the most anticipated programs of the year had finally arrived. Gideon Army Prayer Intercessors (GAPI) an intersession program with God had finally come. A lot of people were in attendance and they were ready to spend the whole day talking to God. In the absence of Pastor Adeniji, three ministers -- Pastor Peter Onyeanula, Pastor Agape Nkwocha, and Pastor Olojo -- were present and they led this event.
It was a two-day program and it commenced after the Holy Ghost night service on June 5th, 2010 at approximately 6:00 A.M. The first section of prayers lasted for approximately an hour until 7:00 A.M. Members present had a two-hour break. The first prayer intercession session was led by Pastor Peters while the second session, led by Pastor Agape, started at 9:00 A.M. and lasted until 10:00 A.M. After both sessions, the entire congregation took another two-hour break.
The third session which started at noon and ended at 1:00 P.M. was led by Pastor Olojo. The congregation took another two- hour break. The fourth session which was led by Pastor Agape started at 3:00 P.M. and ended at 4:00 P.M., and the congregation took another two-hour break. The final session which started at 6:30 P.M. and ended at 8:45 P.M. was led by Pastor Adeniji who had returned from his missionary trip to sister churches. He also thanked the three ministers present for attending.
During the breaks, members where provided with all they needed and children was well taking care of. Food and drinks was available, the congregation slept comfortably, and were giving the opportunity to pray with the ministers that were present.
GAPI was a spirit-filled program and everyone present left fully blessed with a song of praise in their mouths. This intersession prayer was a blessing to a lot of people and members present were glad that they had attended the event.
